Agent Abbas
Kaety got to go to her first T&T (Truth and Training for Awana’s) overnighter at the church a couple of weeks ago (I know, I’m a bit behind on blogging). The theme was Mission Possible and they went through extensive training to become secrent agents, Kaety’s agent name was Agent Abbas (Kaety says Abbas means Lion in African). They had to take special classes in undercover disguises:
Suiting up with the armor of God:
And what training camp would be complete without the obstacle cour… Continue reading

New Year's Eve!
Well after much debate, Cris and I decided to let the kids stay up late with us on New Year’s Eve. The kids thought it was sooooo cool to stay up after their regular bed time and have extra snacks and “special drinks” (carbonated raspberry water). We watched “Robots” and started “Transformers” but turned it off as it was coming upon 12:00. I made each of them personalized dolls and aprons and then finished their sewing projects they started on earlier in the year (Kaetlyn’s quilt pillow, Keirsten’s quilt bag, and Camden’s pillow). They also got … Continue reading

A Blog to Call Home!

Long time no blog!
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve update- crazy busy lives! Here are some pictures to get you up to date:
This is a picture of Kaety and Keirsten’s “Star Gazer’s” class at the Building Character Co-op that we attend on Fridays. They had a blast in that class.
This is the front cover of one of our local coupon magazines here in Bellingham. Our kids got to be famous for the month. Great Advertising! Beautiful kids! Aren’t we missing one? Yes, Camden was insid… Continue reading

Family Day!
Yesterday was much needed family fun day! We drove out to Baker Lake and “attempted” to fish… I think they caught more laughs at me trying to cast than anything else.
It was absolutely breathtaking and we took advantage of the photo opportunities. Some really great pictures!
We then went home for a great Fiesta! Our home schooling had us learning about the Mexico traditions and customs- and you can’t learn about Mexico without having Mexican food at a Mexican Fiesta! So, I t… Continue reading
