Thanksgiving in advance

Okay, I have to confess my moments of discouragement right now. I’m not doing so well on getting my immunizations done for the trip. Just some insight- I only have Basic Health through the state for my insurance and they do not cover any travel related immunizations. I also have not been to a general doctor since High School (yes, I know- crazy!) and the only one covered by my insurance (that accept new patients) is booked through the end of July… not helpful! Their are walk-in clinics that do travel consultations, but they charge you $105 just for the consultation and then they will tell you how much each immunization will cost on top of that. There are a few places that will do immunizations w/out a consultation but they charge more for the immunizations. Grrrr! Can you sense my frustration?

I know God plan and already knows how this will come to pass. He’s already showed me that He alone determines my days, not some expensive immunization or some disease I may catch in Guatemala- Him alone! But…. He also knows that this is a very smart idea and it would make me feel a lot better once I get it done. So, if you know of any quicker, cheaper ways to go- PLEASE FILL ME IN!

I am giving him thanks in advance for how he will bring this to completion and I am anxiously awaiting the day when I can announce how he showed his faithfulness and pulled through once again! I appreciate all your prayers and support, friends- thank you!

“I will not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present my requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus.” Hebrews 4:6-7
