Today, was our first day at the Building Character Co-op and we had a blast! Kaety’s first class is the BCC Annual Yearbook class, she actually gets to take pictures and make a page that will be in the year book at the end of the year. It was all brainstorming today so Kaety thought it was a bit boring. But as the weeks go by and she’s working on her projects, I think she will love it! Keirsten loved her first class, Celebrations Around the World. She gets to learn about different countries ways of celebrating, today she made a lantern but she doesn’t remember what country they were studying. We know what’s really important…. the craft! Both girls were in the Star Gazers class for the afternoon and they got to watch a Magic Schoolbus movie about space and then got their first homework assignment. They each have a different planet that they need to research and write down 4 things about that planet and color their posterboard circle to look like that planet. They are so excited about this class! Overall, they had a blast and I got some great quiet time sitting in the mom’s room. A great day!
