Princess Kiki’s Birthday Trip!

So for Keirsten’s 5th birthday we decided to do a special overnight pamper party with just her and I, what a fabulous time we had!

We started off Tuesday morning and went down to the Bellingham Public Library where they were holding a Fancy Nancy Party. There were so many things to do, we listened to “Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy,” we learned how to say some french words like “sil vous plais” (please) and “merci” (thank you)…

She got to make a “papillion” (that’s french for butterfly) wand…

And even learn how to walk “fancy.” It was extraordinary!

Then it was off to “Lily’s Pampering Salon” at the top of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle (after taking a few wrong turns and calling Cris to get me back on track). We both had a manicure with matching silver nail polish and she had a beautiful updue to make her hair look like a flower. Isn’t it beautiful?

Then it was off to the Hotel, we started off with dinner, then swimming and then cuddling up in front of the tv to watch a movie and then, of course, desert by room service. After an interesting night of sleep (loud neighbors with a very colorful vocabulary) we went down for breakfast and another dip in the pool. Before we checked out of the hotel, she had to try one more time to find her prince…

Then it was off to a surprise trip to the Imagine Children’s Museum, so much to do and what fun!

Riding horses…. milking cows…

Digging up dinosaurs… making music… saving animals…

It was definitely a trip to cherish! Happy Birthday my little princess!
