Today was a great day! We loaded up the monkeys and headed down to Mt Vernon to check out the new Children’s Museum inside Cascade Mall. It was great and the kids had a great time. Kaety’s favorite thing to do was make a dam inside the stream that connects the waterfall to the fishing pond. Her and Cris were there most of the time. Keirsten put on several shows at the theater but says her favorite thing was the water guns. You actually shot water at several things on the wall and made them do different things, I think that was my favorite, too. Camden ran everywhere and was fascinated by just about everything, but was blown away at the desiel and boat that he got to operate. Overall, a great place for the family to hang out. We then went out to lunch at Red Robin and headed home for naps. Then, Cris finally got the lawn mowed and I cleaned up the grill to make BBQ chicken for dinner- which I made for myself cause Kaety decided to make Mac’n’cheese for the kids and Cris wasn’t hungry. Oh well, at least it’s clean for the next time we want to use it.
Anyhow, a great day just hanging out with my family. I love days like this, when I can just dismiss all the other “drama” in my life and focus on what is really important. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
