Family Visit!

This past week my parents came to visit and this time they brought my twin nieces with them! Karlie and Camille have never been up here to visit us and we had a blast with them here! Here are just a few of many memories this week:
Fourth of July Celebration in Zuanich Park- Jump Around had a few inflatables set up all day, so we went there to play, have a picnic dinner and watch the fireworks. They need to work on the traffic jam getting out of that place afterwards- only one road leadin… Continue reading

Fun in the Sun!

One of the great things about Home Schooling our kids is that we can rearrange our schedule so we can get out and enjoy God’s beautiful creation. Besides, who can consentrate on school work when the sun is is beckoning you outside to go swim or play at the park? Sometime’s you just gotta enjoy what’s given to you- there’s plenty of time work later. Continue reading

Bambi… Bad! Icky bugs…. Good!

Some people think that deer are the cutest things that roam the earth, I too like to watch them prance though our yard from time to time. They do tend to be a bit of annoyance when they eat all your flowers that you’ve been eager to see pop up- or when they prance out into traffic and cause someone to go flying through your yard in their pickup truck! Check this out!

It was Tuesday, April 21st- the kids had gotten up from their afternoon naps and were playing outside with their bikes a… Continue reading

April Fools!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! I know I’m really bad at keeping this updated- one of the setbacks to having a busy life I guess. I will try to do better. But for now, here is a picture of my greatest April Fool’s joke to my family- although, Keirsten was the only one who was truely horrified at how cruel it was! See if you can guess the ingredients.

Mmmm… Faux Berry Pie! Made from browned (food coloring) meatloaf on the bottom to look like cholocate and pink colored (food coloring) mashed… Continue reading

Washed by the Water

Well, Kaety made the greatest step of spiritual obedience yesterday morning and made Cris and I very proud. Kaety has been contemplating baptism for about a year now and had it impressed on her heart a few weeks ago that it was time for her to dive in. She’s always been pretty in tune with what God is trying to communicate, this was no different- God said get baptized and she obeyed. Of course Cris and I were a little worried that she may be too young, but after many talks about why she wante… Continue reading

A New Family Member!

We’d like to introduce you to our newest family member- MollyAnn!
Cris’s sister came up to visit us last weekend and she brough Molly with her, we all fell in love with her and Hannah decided to let her stay with us. She is a 5 month old Basset Hound/ Heeler mix. She’s still getting use to us and that involves some retraining (I will be happy when she learns that the bathroom is OUTSIDE!) She is a sweet little girl and the kids love to play with her, she sleeps in the girls room and mostly… Continue reading
