El Salvador- Day8 (July 2nd)

Lord, I’m a bit bummed that today is the last day of ministry- tomorrow is our “fun day” and then we fly out on Sunday. I’m also a bit bummed that I don’t have a specific role today, other than dancing. I think you’re calling me to serve my team today, to be their encourager and supporter. To pray for each of those sharing their testimony and the gospel. Help me show them your love today and help me in to be in tune with you, Holy Spirit. To be able to see the needs around me. Peel my eyes open to see those that need a word of encouragement or a prayer of support, both on our team and in the places we go. Let me shine your glory in everything I do today, Lord, because you’re worthy of it!

After the private school, we went to Pizza Hut for lunch. I’m not sure what happened because it happened so quickly. After I was done eating, Brett came over to me and asked if we had any extra Wordless Bracelets. Our two waitresses wanted one. I took mine off to give them and Janelle gave them one of hers. I told them what each of the beads meant and asked if they were Christians (all through Ruth’s interpretation of course). One of them was a Catholic and the other was not a Christian anymore. They both ended up wanting to rededicate their lives to Christ. So I prayed for them and that was that! Such a great experience!
We then headed over the Orphanage- Where were completely WRECKED!!! We did our dances and dramas for all the kids and just hung out with them, doing crafts and playing with them. I met my little El Salvador baby, Gabriella Michelle, a beautiful 2 month old. She was the most beautiful thing, I couldn’t put her down and had a very hard time sharing. I will never forget that sweet precious little girl. We heard so many sad and painful stories about these kids, it was so hard to leave them!
