It’s Free Fare Week for the WTA, so we decided to give it a shot as a family. It was a lot easier than I thought, the route we took was from up in Sudden Valley directly to the train station downtown (with stops along the way, of course) we didn’t have to switch buses at all. After we got to the train station we walked to the Bellingham Public Library where the kids exchanged movies and books (Kaety got 14 chapter books and is on her 3rd one- she’s a reading machine). Then we walked around town to find lunch, we ended up at a new joint called “Fiama Burger” which I believe is in run by the same owner of “La Fiama’s Woodfire Grill”- It was really good, the burger’s are “all natural” (not sure what that means) and they have lots of different sauces for the fries, event the curry mayo was pretty good. Anyhow, we then headed back to the train station to wait for our bus. The whole experience was fun and the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever… no seatbelts! I forgot to take my camera so these pictures are from my phone- not the greatest but it works.
